South Pacific

In June of 1996, Keli joined the Hawaii Ocean of Light Baha'i Youth Dance Theater on a tour to three island nations in the south pacific—Kiribati, Tuvalu and the Marshall Islands.

The group addressed important social issues including substance abuse, domestic violence and racial prejudice through artistic presentations. 

During the six-week tour, Keli participated in cultural exchange activities, volunteered in community service projects and performed in over thirty locations.  The Prime Minister of Kiribati and his wife were among noted audience members.
